In fact, according to the Bureau of Labor and Statistic, the median annual for registered nurses was $65,470 in May 2012. Don’t let the costs delay your dreams! FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE

Financial Assistance is discussed with the Administrative Director. South Florida Medical College offers in house payment plans to assist with payment of tuition, fees and books. The total cost has to be paid in full by the end of the program. South Florida Medical College does not participate in the Federal Student Aid programs.

Licensed Practical Nursing (LPN)

  • Length of Program: 12 Months
  • Credential: Diploma
  • Program Requirements:
    • Have a valid high school diploma or GED
    • Take and Pass TEAS entrance exam
    • Be at least 18 years of age
    • Have a personal interview with the admissions representative or a school official

Generic Associate Degree in Nursing (A.S.)

  • Program Length: 24 Months
  • Credential: Associate Degree
  • Program Requirements:
    • Have a valid high school diploma or GED
    • Be at least 18 years of age
    • Have a personal interview with the admissions representative or a school official
    • Nursing, A.S. students must also pass the TEAS (Test of Essential Academic Skills) test scoring 65 percent or higher
    • Nursing, A.S. students must pass the Entrance Critical Thinking Test and receive a composite score of 60 percent

ASN Fast Track

Advance Placement for Associate Degree in Nursing (A.S.)

Does South Florida Medical College offer Financial Aid??

At this present time, South Florida Medical College does not offer financial aid, however we provide an affordable tuition option and in-house payment plan.

Does my tuition include books, uniform and supplies?

No the tuition for each program does not included any books, supplies or uniforms.

Are there any scholarships available?

At this present time, South Florida Medical College does not offer any scholarships.

What forms of payment is accepted?

South Florida Medical College accept payments in the following forms:

  1. Checks or money order
  2. Cash

How do I make my payments?

Once a student has completed the Admission requirement and is accepted to the college, he or she will meet with a Financial Advisor. Student will then complete the following steps:

  1. Review of tuition
  2. Complete and sign enrollment agreement
  3. Complete tuition deposit towards tuition
  4. The remaining balance will be paid monthly

What is the refund policy?

Please see the student handbook for the college’s refund policy.

What if I fail a course, do I have to pay more tuition?

Yes, students who fail to earn a satisfactory grade in any registered course, will have to repeat the course failed. In addition, the student will be charge a cost per credit for any course repeated. See student handbook for policy on cost related to repeating a course.
