Associate Degree in Nursing


The Associate in Science Degree in Nursing Program is designed to prepare the individual student for a career as a professional nurse. The program’s mission is to provide accessible education for the development of nurses for entry-level practice. The mission will be accomplished through this program that reflects the needs and current trends of the communities we serve.


(Two year track)

Applicants must meet the following general requirements:

  • Have a valid high school diploma or GED
  • Be at least 18 years of age
  • Have a personal interview with the admissions representative or a school official
  • Nursing, A.S. students must also pass the TEAS (Test of Essential Academic Skills) test scoring 65 percent or higher
  • Nursing, A.S. students must pass the Entrance Critical Thinking Test and receive a composite score of 60 percent


  • 24 Months
